Long-term and short-stay units in the same building
Three units on Airbnb and twenty-one on leases is a normal Philippine building. The platform marks a unit as short-stay and changes exactly what needs changing — invoicing and cleaning — while everything else stays in the same place.

- No tenant, no monthly invoice. There is no client record and no repeating schedule. Income is recorded per stay from the Airbnb page: dates, nights, payout.
- Turnover cleans instead of the weekly rota. A checkout creates a cleaning job with the short-stay checklist, assigned to whoever is on that day. The unit is not on the weekly template.
- Consumables are stocked and recovered differently. Toiletries and coffee are "used", not sold; their cost lands on the unit and is covered by the nightly rate.
- Rose everywhere. Short-stay units are marked in a distinct colour on Tonight, the units list, the rota and the P&L, so nobody invoices a guest or skips a checkout clean.
What stays the same
The unit is a unit: same place, same floor, same legal description, same expenses, same stock ledger, same tickets, same gate log. Its P&L row sits next to the leased ones with income under Short-stay instead of Rent, which is the point — you see per door what each model earns after cleaning and consumables.
Switching a unit
From the unit's page, Short-stay on or off. Turning it on with a tenant in place is refused until the tenancy ends. Turning it off makes the unit lettable again the moment the last checkout clean is done. History from either mode stays on the unit.
Reading a mixed month
Tonight shows occupancy for both — a guest counts as occupied, a gap between guests as vacant. The P&L shows both income kinds per unit and totals by kind. The trend view answers the question owners ask most: is 2B making more as short-stay than 2A makes on a lease, after the cleaning?
