From one building to a portfolio: how the platform grows with you
The first building is the easy one. The question is what happens when you buy the second, and it has streets instead of floors, and then a few condos somewhere else entirely.

Your workspace holds places; each place holds units. A place has a shape — stacked, flat, or a building run by someone else — and that shape decides its pages. Adding a second place does not change the first one. It adds a card to My day, a filter to the money pages, and a scope you can give to staff.
What is shared
- People. One staff list, one client list. A manager can be scoped to one place or all; an accountant-role user sees every place's money and no place's rota.
- Money. Invoices, payments and expenses carry their place. Reports add up across places and filter down to one. Profit and loss is per unit, per place, and total.
- Settings. Logo, payment details, invoice numbering, sending settings — once, for the business. A place can override the payment details if a property has its own account.
What stays per place
- The rota and the gate. A cleaner works a place; a guard watches a gate. Sunset Villas' rota does not show Harbour Ridge's corridors.
- Occupancy and Tonight. Each place has its own card, because the question "how full are we" has a different answer per property.
- Shape. Floors here, streets there. A scattered place has neither.
Units in buildings you don't run
Three condos in three towers, each managed by its own condo corporation. You are not cleaning their lobby or staffing their gate, so the platform should not ask you to. Create a place per tower, add only your units, and mark the building as managed by others. You get income, expenses, deposits and the tenant portal per unit, and none of the operational pages that would sit empty.
