My day explained: reading your dashboard in thirty seconds

My day is the first page after sign-in and, for most people, the only page they need before lunch. It is a reading page, not a working page: it tells you where to go next.

By the end of this pageYou will be able to read the whole page at a glance, know which cards are yours to act on, and rearrange it to suit the way you work.

Top to bottom

Money comes first because it is what an owner looks for first. Received, outstanding, and six months of bars. If your role does not include finance, the band is simply not there — the page starts at the cards.

Tonight is the building's state this evening: how many units are occupied, who arrives, who leaves. Needs you is the one card that asks for action; everything in it is a link to the place where the action happens. Building is who is physically there according to the gate and staff check-ins. Today is who is working where. Calendar is the next few dated events, read straight from leases, payroll and invoice schedules.

Who sees what

The page is assembled from your role. An owner or admin sees all of it. A manager sees everything except the money band. A receptionist sees tonight, building and needs-you. A cleaner does not see My day at all — she lands on Today's work, a page built for a phone and a pair of gloves. Inviting staff explains the roles.

Make it yours

Press Arrange in the top right. Cards get handles; drag them into your order, hide the ones you never read, save. The arrangement is yours alone — your manager keeps hers. Reset brings the default back. Every major page in the platform has the same button; My day is just the one you will use first.

Nothing on this page is typed in. Every number is computed from the records underneath — invoices, check-ins, the rota. If a figure looks wrong, the fix is in the record, not on My day.
